The Canebrake Genealogical & Historical Society is based in Conecuh County, Alabama, and is open to anyone who are descendants of families from Conecuh and surrounding counties. We welcome those that are willing to exchange information, answer queries, and stay in contact with each other to further the collection of information of those that have come before us.
If you are new to the site we welcome you and please enjoy it. If you are returning to it then you will notice that there are many changes going on. We hope that these are changes for the better. Evergreen Public Libarary Temporarily Moved and Back Open
The Evergreen Public Libary has temporarily moved to the former Conecuh County Health Department building on US 31 at the Western By-Pass, opposite of Cotten-Hutcheson. The Genealogy Section is open and able to assist in researching Please check back for updates. |
